Privacy Policy

Information you give us

Depending on what you use, Oryveil stores:

• Account email, and a display name if you have one
• Birth date, birth time, and birth place
• Coordinates and a timezone derived from that place
• The natal chart and the astrology details calculated from it
• Generated readings, including Cosmic Essence and personalized Daily copy
• Purchase and subscription status, and the payment provider's identifiers
• Push subscription address and keys, if you turn on notifications
• A timezone used to choose which calendar day is "today"
• If you save a chart before creating an account, the email and chart for that lead, plus an optional choice to receive occasional notes

A birth date is used to calculate the chart. It is not treated as proof of your legal age.

Account and technical information

Sign-in uses a session kept by the authentication provider in the browser. The app does not store raw IP addresses in its own database. Hosting and network providers can still process ordinary request data, such as an address, while they deliver the page.

If you choose Google sign-in, Google is the authentication provider. Oryveil can receive the email on that Google account, and a display name when the sign-in includes one, and uses them to create or confirm the Oryveil account. Oryveil does not receive your Google password. Deleting the Oryveil account does not delete the Google account. The Oryveil deletion below still applies to the account and the data stored with it.

On this device, Oryveil can also keep a service-worker cache of public assets and a local note of when you dismissed the install prompt. There is no advertising tracker, and product analytics or error-monitoring SDKs are not active in the app today.

Why it is used

Oryveil uses this information to create your chart, show Daily, prepare a purchased reading, run membership and billing status, send a transactional email, deliver an optional push, and delete the account when you ask. Optional notes are sent only if you opted in when saving a chart. Saving the chart itself does not opt you in.

What the writing model receives

Reflective copy can be generated with Anthropic. That request carries the symbolic chart details or Daily signals needed to write the text, such as signs, degrees, and aspects. It does not include your account email, birth-place coordinates, or Dodo payment details.

• Google — sign-in, when you choose it
• Vercel — hosting for the website and app
• Railway — server-side calculation of planetary positions
• Anthropic — AI writing for reflective readings
• Resend — transactional email, such as a link when a reading is ready
• Dodo Payments — merchant of record for checkout, billing, tax, refunds, and payment disputes

This page does not state how long each provider keeps a copy, and it does not confirm that a separate data-processing agreement is finished with each of them.

Deletion

The simplest way to delete your Oryveil account is the delete control on the Account page. If Founding is still set to renew, renewal is scheduled to stop before the account is removed. The deletion then removes the account and the personal astrology data tied to it, including a saved chart lead for that same email, generated readings, membership rows, and push subscription data.

A separate deletion record is kept for three years after deletion is completed. It is a pseudonymous reference, not your raw email, and it does not include the chart or the reading.

A short payment-event record can remain so the same payment notice is not applied twice. That record is not a copy of your chart or reading. Dodo Payments may keep its own payment, tax, fraud, refund, and dispute records because it is the merchant of record.

Deletion removes information from active systems first. A backup cycle can still hold a copy until that backup expires. Oryveil does not promise that every backup disappears at the same moment you press delete.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or complaints. This page does not set a country-specific deadline or claim that a particular registration or representative is already in place.
